When the pharmacy closes on short notice, we've created a quick checklist for items to update.

  1. Greeting - You can record a special greeting, and set the time frame to only apply to the day(s) that the office is impacted.

  2. Hours - You can add special hours, reflecting the office closure.

  3. Call Routing - if you choose to keep the pharmacy's IVR 'open' and have calls ring through, you can set all phone calls to route to a personal phone line.

These settings can be accessed anywhere that has access to internet. If there is inclement weather, there's no need to brave the elements to ensure patients know that the pharmacy will be closed.
