If a patient does not want to be contacted via Direct Messaging, they can opt out at any time. Once opted out, they will no longer receive messages, and we will place a message blocker on their profile in your Inbox. This way, you know that the patient has indicated that Messaging is not the best way to contact them.

Patient opt out by accident? No problem! Just give us a call, and we can opt the patient back in to Messaging.
