We recommend that at least 4 phone lines are available at the pharmacy.
Once the IVR is installed, the main phone line of the pharmacy will be dedicated strictly to forwarding calls to the IVR and will not be able to accept inbound phone calls for an operator to physically answer. By having 4 available phone lines, the IVR will still have the ability to transfer customers to the remaining 3 lines.
